Jat agitation: Worst violence in Rohtak Haryana

In Rohtak town, Mr. Khattar faced an angry crowd which raised slogans against the police, besides demanding strict action against "looters".
Mr. Khattar said those found guilty of violence during the agitation would not be spared, but no false case would be filed against anyone.

As the Jat agitation intensifies, people have begun criticising the Rohtak police for allegedly failing to protect the residents during the riots, especially when 2,000 of them — including army personnel — were deployed in the city.
