Today, the Government of J&K, had Notified the much talked "New Recruitment Policy 2015". This Recruitment policy had seen many ups and downs, even faced the rejection from the Governor's Office, and asked the Government to review it and make it more people friendly.
Not, only the Governor's Office, even the Policy is greeted with series of protests, from the various sections of the society.But Finally, after various rounds of meetings, the "New Recruitment Policy 2015" is implemented.
In this post, we are going to share the Complete Details and Highlights of New Recruitment Policy. The New Recruitment Policy is titled as "Fast Track Recruitment in Government Departments".

1) Time-Limit: The Recruitments to be done under the New Recruitment Policy, must be completed in a period of 3 Months. The pending recruitments with agencies like JKSSB and JKPSC are to be completed in 4 months.
Gone are the days, when you have to wait for several years for your appointment in Government Departments and Thanks to New Recruitment Policy, now you will have your appointment letter with in 3 months.
2) Probation Period: The Probation period is 5 years that means, you will get Full Salary and other emoluments & Benefits, after completing the 5 years of service.
3) No Transfers During Probation Period: Under the New Recruitment Policy, appointees will have to serve in their respective area (District) for 5 years. However, the candidates from RBA, LOC and LAC, will have to serve for 7 years in their native areas.
4) Limited Salary : As per the New Recruitment Policy, appointees, will get salary in the form of (Basic Pay + Pay Band) and other annual increments. The Complete salary(DA, HRA(, along with Pay-Scale, will be given only after completing the 5 years of satisfactory service.
5) Coming Soon (7500 Jobs) : Initially, the Government had decided to fill 7500 vacancies through the "Fast Track Recruitment" that is to be completed with in a span of 3 months. It is expected that Bumper Vacancies by Recruitment agencies will be announced in the coming weeks.

Moreover, the Government had already referred 2700 posts
( 1700 College Lecturers, 600 School Lecturers and 400 Doctors) to JKPSC , that remained unfilled, because the government failed to appoint the PSC Commissioner and its members.
Here are Some changes made to "New Recruitment Policy" , after the governor rejected the Ordinance.
1) In the earlier policy, it was proposed that for Non-Gazetted posts, a District Level committes headed by DC's will supervise the Recruitment Process.Now, In the New Recruitment policy, the Govt.. had decided to strengthen, the SSB, by allotting an SSB member to each of the Districts.
Now the Recruitment for Non-Gazetted posts, will be done through JKSSB and Recruitment to Gazetted posts, will be done by PSC
2) The probation period, has been decreased from 7 years to 5 years.
