2 Drug peddlers held 6500 intoxicating capsules & 65 Banned syrup bottles recovered.
Jammu: Police on Monday arrested two drug peddlers and recovered large quantity of intoxicating capsules and banned sryup bottles from their possession.
On Specific information, Police party of Bahu Fort Police Station established a Naka at Narwal Chowk and intercepted a car bearing No. JK02AL-2298.
During Checking 6500 intoxicating capsules and 65 bottles of banned syrup were recovered from the car.
The accused has been identified as
1) Rajbeer singh @ RAJBIR S/o ShubhKaram Singh, R/O Central Kanli Bagh, Baramulla, At present Nanak Nagar Jammu.
2) Sameer Ahmed Mir, S/o Abdul Khalid Mir . R/O Noor Bagh, Baramulla Kashmir.
In this subject a case with FIR no. 51/16 under sections 8, 21 and 22 NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Bahu Fort.
During Questioning the drug peddlers revealed that consignment was brought from outside Jammu and kashmir and for the sale among youth in jammu District
